March 10: Symbian OS market share Nijverdal – For the past two events we have collected a lot of market data about Symbian OS. Now we have summarized the most recent public market facts about Symbian OS in a nice article which you can read here. With an estimated installed base of 150 million units and a global market share of 46.2% in Q3 2009 Symbian OS is a very viable platform to deploy mobile services. And with new announcements of Symbian phones by Nokia and exciting new technologies (Qt) in Symbian^3 and Symbian^4 it is time to learn about Symbian OS and start to develop for Symbian OS.
